Josh Radde · 1 year agoI wonder if anyone in the Academy is writing in King of Kong. Question: Can Academy members write in winners?

Robert Fure · 1 year agoYes, Academy members can write in winners - but it only happened once, and that was in 1935. The reason why it doesn't happen is because Academy members are the ones who select the films in the first place. If they overlook it in selecting it, most will just vote for whats presented to them, or overlook any film not presented to them.
