That's not Takeshi Kitano. The guy is a famous Muay Thai teacher given a cameo as a homage (Stan Lee style).

can i get a verification of that...cause it really looks like beat takeshi... although more like his father i guess....he looks a bit older...but otherwise a great movie...i thought the story was quite interesting, although most people will mock it...i think its a good twist on the old pride story that can be seen from once upon a time in china and drunken master...its not usual supsects or soemthing with a great story that grips you...but i fell for it and thought it was well above avg for an action movie
