yeah that looks more of a dramatic movie than a parody or satire..
The tone and feel of it looks like this film is gonna attempt to make us feel sorry for Bush?

"this film is gonna attempt to make us feel sorry for Bush?"

This is really easy to answer ifyou know a littleabout our fine president. He was a crazy Frat boy and bassically a C student. That got strings pulled because of his Father. The movie is going to show people like you Neil Miller what he was and how ridiculous it is that he is the president.

This has "Farce" written all over it. I am SO looking forward to this. Let's hope it's Nixon crossed with Dr. Strangelove. I mean, James Cromwell as George H.W. Bush, how can it be anything else?

"Partying, chasing tail, driving drunk? Who do you think you are, a Kennedy?"

One man's struggle to find his true self...

This is going to be Rocky 3 except with more Politics.

    I pity the fool.

I agree with Joe on this one !

This film won't be a guilt fest, its gonna be a roast!

I sure hope the films ends with bush on the Aircraft Carrier with the Mission Acomplished , banner behing him. The same banner that the admin had air-brushed off most media archives.

    Looks superb!

A top cast and from the bits of dialogue I've read, just hilarious! I think Stone's opted for a witty, farcical affair and it will be all the better for it - as opposed to an out-an-out hate-filled diatribe.

No, I don't think Stone is going after whimsy here. I think he's trying to show up W for the asshole he is. Just from the trailer here we're seeing all the things that make us think that "Yes, he's a drunk frat boy that we elected to to the highest office in the US. Aren't we a bunch of shmucks"

It's is a dramatic satire. This movie will be hilarious because our current president is hilarious as a person. The movie is not aimed at making us feel sorry for Bush and it is certainly not trying to paint him as a great man. It is a story of another human being who just happens to be a likeable hilarious person. He is a character! It just goes to show you that anyone can be president and your past does not matter. people can change. Has he made bad decisions, yes. He has to worry about the entire country and everyone in it. I'm pretty sure it is not an easy task. I'm sure all of you have made your bad decsisons while several people were affected by it. Anyway look at him as a human being and watch how funny he is and how funny this movie will be. Satire people look it up cause that is what the movies is about-- Satire.
