    I literally just spooged in my pants. This has never happened to me as the result of viewing LEGO sets before. I am frightened.

    I already got one of the sets, Toys'R'Us had four of them, but not any of those, a few days before Christmas. I went to Lego.com and they didn't even have the Indy page up yet.
    I got the Motorcycle Chase with Indy on a German bike with his dad riding in the sidecar chased by the German biker headed to the guardpost. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/wittzo/I...
    We were there to get Star Wars Legos, but as soon as I saw them, I knew what I wanted for next Christmas. Luckily my son wanted the biggest set for his b-day, the temple where Indy gets chased by the boulder. They also had the truck chase set and the Temple of Set (the one with all the snakes and the giant statues in the first movie) on the shelf before Christmas.

    Does anyone else remember the old space sets from the late 70s/early 80s? I liked those so much better than the sets produced over the last decade or so - they were solidly constructed and did not feature many kit-specific parts. I am an admirer of the larger Star Wars kits (Blockade Runner, Star Destroyer, Millenium Falcon, etc.), but too often Lego gets "lazy" and sells kits that are only a few pieces that require little thought. Revive the old kits, Lego!

    I agree with BJ. I grew up with lego in the late eighties/early nineties, just as they began branching out from their classic castle and space themed sets and before they landed Star Wars or any other movie licenses. As neat as Indiana Jones lego might be, my favourite thing to do would always be to take all my lego from all my different sets and just build the biggest, most badass castle and/or space station I could. Lego should come out with a 'build your own castle/space station' set; just a bucket full of castle/space pieces and no instructions at all. Let the kids go nuts with it, it's much more fun.

    these lego stes will not be out until the new Indy movie is out, what is out now are the original Indy sets.

    and i dont believe lego has gotten "lazy" Indy is fun and a welcome addition, just because you have grown old and lost some imagination doesnt mean other kids have and will create their things with these new sets. as with any lego product this should only be a starting point to get the imagination going.

    Joann I hate to say that you must not have played with Legos ever. The classic castle in which BJ had mentioned was yellow and could be built with standard pieces. The newer castles have pre molded walls and many other items. This has nothing with being old but just plain practical. It's really hard to build a space station with pre molded castle walls with moss and vines imprinted on them.
