Film School Rejects: New Trailer for Steve Martin’s ‘Pink Panther 2′ Is Exactly What You’d Expect

Some where along the way people seem to have forgotten that the original Pink Panther series was written for ADULTS. In fact all but the last two movies Peter Sellers starred in contained plenty of foul language, nudity, and sexual situations.

Once again Hollywood has stripped all the elements that made the movie a success and they can't understand why it isn't a hit like the original.

Yes morale beats out perversity once again! Dambueger!!! I liked the first one and this seems just as funny. Wont be hilarious...but it will be funny.

Actually, the first incarnation of the hellish, fiery, mediocre slime that was Steve Martin's PINK PANTHER grossed $158,926,474 worldwide, with a production budget estimated at $80,000.00. It's earned another $22,000.00 in DVD sales--a number that I'm sure the studio is counting on to get a bump with the release of a sequel.

So yes--it was pretty successful. Just proving that the mass audience taste trends toward mediocrity.

The only funny part in this trailer was when he was dressed as the pope and fell of the
    balcony, kind of funny, right?
