Film School Rejects: New Teaser For ‘2012′ Reminds Us That Digital Waves Were Once Impressive

And where the heck does that much water come from? The Moon?

I mean c'mon, a flash-flood of NYC in a matter of seconds i can buy (suspending some disbelief) but to flood OVER a mountain range in a matter of seconds! Gimme a freakin' break!

Roland Emmerich is really running out of imagination and that chocolote pudding idea might not be that far off now come to think of it...

Looks good though... While were at it, why not have the monk sprout wings and just fly away... that wood look good too!!!

Come on THAT is impressive. Not saying that the film won't be absolutely shit (most likely will) just saying that Emmerich can cut a fucking trailer better than the best of them.

If that trailer was my girlfriend, shed quickly become my ex. Didn't do anything for me. As for the Mayan calendar, even though my ancestors made it, it'll just be another Y2K epidemic. We all know how lame that was. I at least expected ufo's to approach and await choas to rule. Sigh...

Seems to me we've seen that done before. But hey, I wouldn't mind being Noah this go round.

I'm so sick of hearing people blabber on about how the world will end at 2012. It's like Y2K all over again, morons getting anxious about nothing, and no doubt this film will spark more vapid apocalypse-related conversations. With any luck this film won't be as horrible as "10,000 BC," although I wouldn't be surprised if "2012" ends up being "The Day after Tomorrow 2: Electric Boogaloo."

Y2K was the result of media going apeshit over something 99% of people who mattered knew wouldn't do anything. Computers dropped two digit dating dozens of years ago, and even then it would have been a simple but somewhat expensive fix.

2012 is slightly more credible because OOoOooOoOO Dead Civilization Predicted It!

It could make a really awesome movie, but if it just turns out to be a series of disasters, that is lame. I always heard it was about nature fighting back and technology turning against its creators. Which in a modern world would be like natural disasters + when animal attacks + Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive. Which would be the greatest movie of all time.

Looks cool, but so did 10,000 b.c. and look how that turned out

    Maximum Overdrive is my shit.

I counted the word "vapid" twice on this page.
