wow!! I dont know What to say about that!!!! I'm a big fan of G I Joe from my early days and some of that trailer comes off corny!!! Whats up with those suits? Storm shadow dosent look badass at all!?! uhhh
Who is in charge?? How come everytime they make a movie off of our chidlhood up bringings they cater that sh__t to yhe younger audiance for today, so they can make quick money to payoff on how much they wasted on making it wrong. hav'nt they seen the cycle yet! LOL

Is it just me or did a lot of shots look exactly the same as ones in Transformers?

The last shot of the Joe's doing spin jumps in the street to narrowly miss incoming missles ... and what the hell were they doing chasing a suburban on foot?

Transformers was Awesome, this just looks loud and stupid

Positive: Lots of references to Joe vehicles, etc.
Cons: They picked the cheesiest ones.
Positive: Looks like good action.
Cons: Looks like bad acting.
Positive: It's GI Joe.
Cons: It's not the GI Joe we know and those suits are ridiculous.
Positive: Hot chicks.
Cons: Stephen Sommers.

I'm not a G.I. Joe fan but this movie makes me thank myself for not becoming one, I almost puke my heart out of my body because I only watch the trailer, what happen if I watch the full movie, I think I will die for sure!

just like the X-MEN, GI JOE has all black suits.

The only thing I saw in the trailer is CGI. Don't forget this is the man who made The Mummy and only used 1/3 of the budget for CGI. I'm sure this movie was a long time cumming but they sure went the wrong way the idea and look of the movie. Too bad.

I have been a fan of G.I.Joe since it first came out, have all the comic series up to 2008, but that isn't G.I.Joe. That is to G.I.Joe what Dungeons and Dragons the movie is to the D&D game, not even close.

Just once couldn't they give Ray Parks a chance to be in another good movie like he deserves?

Any people give this a chance. I remember similar events when Transformers was being released. Who knows may sommers will finally make a good film. I see it as big fun cheesy movie. Its G.I joe haveing an orgy with Scifi gadgets. Even if it does suck it will still be wroth seeing thanks to ray parks. He studied all the poses snake eyes does in the comics and uses them in the film. That alone makes me pumped for this film.

Why is it that they do a 360 from what the charachters really are just to excite the group of ADHD kids this movie is geared to? Where was G.I. Joe in all of that? And at what point did he plug into the Matrix?

Watching it again... The effects aren't that bad. In fact, if this was called "Accelerator Suit Heroes" I'd be all over it. But its called GI Joe so I'm skeptical. There could have been an amazing GI Joe movie or a cheesy one. This will be a cheesy one.

Sienna Miller's boobs look amazing.

Effiel power and the Pyramids of Giza were both in Team America, and what about the outlandish vehicles, the cheese factor is through roof. I wasn't trying to hate, but come on you can't deny the fact there are similarities. You would think they notice these things as they were making the movie and then use some different landmarks. On a side note, Transformers was visual stunning, but the story was weak and the third act seems to come out of nowhere. Why is megatron be placed in hoover dam? I mean really? G.I. Joe is such a relic from the cold war anyway, It doesn't translate well in a post 9/11 world, or even in a post Berlin wall world. While this movie may a winner at the box office it will still not hold a higher place with generation X as the first animated series because of lack of cultural reference and that it is another rehash. You know what, It will probably get own its trilogy, so stop peeing your pants Insane12, over a comment that I made that is equivalent as me posting ron paul in 2012, or this looks gay.

Yes and Yes! The trailer looks even worse than I could have imagined. Terrible acting, hot girls, defy the laws of physics action, and so many explosions that there is no coherent story that could link them. This movie is going to be awesome! (Are we sure Mike Bay had no part in this?)
