i vaguely remember the anime film of this series. lots and lots of bloody and violent action.

I will start to watch the anime Blood when they show it on Adult Swim, after I finish watching the anime, I might consider watching this movie since it the only live action movie based off a Manga/Anime that might be the best one if a other one doesn't take it place, hopefully Cowboy Bebop but I'm not putting any bets yet on CB but if the first looks trailers looks good, I will take any chances to see it because I want some new Cowboy Bebop martial already to see!

do yourself a favor and only watch the anime movie...the series isn't much of the basis for the live-action movie

Agreed, the first movie is better than the series. The series brought in too many characters and tried to make Saya too human. I liked her in the anime movie when she is sullen and pissed off, like she has seen this all too many times before and is about to say the hell with it and then quit.

My main question is who is the white chick in the movie, she wasnt in the anime movie, nor were half the other scenes in the trailer.
