Film School Rejects: Natalie Portman Wins the Battle of Wuthering Heights

    Do you automatically put period pieces in the "boring" catagory? For all any of us know this director and the cast may turn this into something worthwhile.

    No, I don't automatically label period films as boring. Pride & Prejudice, Elizabeth, and Jean de Florette are three great period pieces off the top of my head.
    That said, this site isn't meant to simply report the facts... it's a place for opinions as well. And my opinion is I'd prefer to see Portman in something original than something where everyone already knows the story. (Especially a particularly boring story such as Wuthering Heights.)

    And no one likes spam steveunion, even when it is cleverly automated.
