Sorry, but I won't pay money to see a movie that idolizes a murder and communist revolutionist. This was one of the archetects of the Cuban Regime that is now in power in Cuba. Death to Revolutionists.

Blah blah...Che was what he was. Yes WE ALL KNOW that. Too many people talk but never act. Things are never thsat easy I guess. Regardless, this movie doesnt idolize Che but shows the story with the good and the bad. Were you watching the trailer or did you just skip to the comments? I dont like him either but this movie will hopefully open some eyes to the situations and relations with the U.S. and Cuba. Dunno... Anyhow Benicio seems to have thrown himself into the role. Im def in to see this now.

Looks like it's everything we prayed for! Del Toro is perfect casting!
Love the fact it's in 2 parts as well.

So a bunch of kids who think they somehow relate to Che will show up wearing their Che t-shirts and Fidel Castro hats, and I'll be annoyed in line trying to buy tickets for something else.

I like Del Toro though, so I might see it just to see him.

Sorry, but I see movies to see movies and judge for myself. I tend to not follow the political baggage that comes with them.

Ernesto 'Che' Guevara was a true revolutionary in both spirit and action. He began what now manifests itself today in areas all across the world, especially that of Chiapas, Mexico with Subcomandante Marcos. He may have comitted certain atrocities but the legend of Che is not so much in the action as it is in the spirit of justice for humanity. This movie displays Che for what he was in all lights. Che was a leader and has more spine and vision than any of the cronies on Capital Hill today. From the US lead CIA coup de'tat to overthrow the democratically elected leader in Guatemala to the CIA installation of a brutal military dictator in Cuba, Che fought for justice against the tyranny of what is US foreign policy. LONG LIVE DE REVOLUCION!!!
