Love the sense of majesty given to the middle panorama image, but hate the other two shown above. (What exactly is supposed to be going on in the top image, anyway? Is that "BAK" as in a sound effect, or is it a "BAR" sign? )
The comic book tights-into-armor onscreen has become a cliche in superhero movies...Let's leave rubber out of the equation, too shall we? What if GL's "suit" is itself a layer of energy produced by the ring to protect the being wearing it? A seamless skin that covers Jordan's body, and that he can adapt using his will, such as to create the mask he needs to protect his identity when using his powers on earth. (The mask has no purpose when GL is offworld, where he can't be seen by other humans.)

Why is everyone keep putting up Nathan Filliol for the role, HE SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!! WHY DO YOU THINK HE IS ON TV? He cannot carry this movie, he is gonna kill it. You need somebody really good, like Downey Jr in Iron Man or Bale in Batman, someone who can make this valuable, otherwise you are gonna have another Batman and Robin. Why dont you think about someone with real talent like Matt Damon, Jude Law, or even Aaron Eckhart, he wants the role!!!!!!!!!
Please, post real talented people for this role, even if you dont believe it, the people at Warner consider the blogs and you are putting up really poor actors, why do you think they are not making the movie with Jack Black. For a good movie you need people with talent. Please no more Nathan Filliol, I would even consider Daniel Day Lewis for the Sinestro character and Brad Pitt for Green Lantern, you need to think big, like Marvel is doing.

See the problem with Aaron Ekhart playing the roll is he is already a key villian in the DC universe now...Which may I add he does very well...Now I am a HUGE GL fan and I cannot figure out who would make a great Hal. But he better be on the mark. Another problem I have is the GL outfit. I really like the whoe ring make the outfit bit. Fits the story...HOWEVER I don't like the style. I think they should make it look closer to the basic outfit rather than an ION tie-in. Last, I know who would make a great Sinestro...although if I have read correctly he won't be in the first film...or near the end...If Sinestro is in the first movie...it should be John Turturro. He is a great actor and I think he had the smarts and the look to bring it to life.

I hate the concept of the costume that was done. Why would he need any armor? His rings energy force field would be enough and would be way more superior anyway. This would be like seeing a new Star Trek film where the federation does away with their energy shield technology and replaces it with Michael Keaton batman styled batmobile cocoon shielding. And why the above post about how he should be african american. What the F@#CK!?! This is a tale about Hal Jordan! Hal Jordan is white! Deal with it! It's how he was designed. The Black Green Lantern comes after Hal Jordan! Since all you buggers cry about wanting an African American so bad, I am going to cry baby WAH about it when John Stewart is put into the sequel! I'll insist that Jon Stewart be white! How's that feel, SENORITO VON?!!!!!!!!!! Aren't you happy enough that Nick Fury is now Black?
