"Like most of the film, we don’t know where it’s headed."

So sly Mr. Abaius, so sly.

Pretty weird, I just watched this movie twice yesterday just for the hell of it, once by itself the second time with the director's commentary, it was pretty good, the movie is quite brillaint and beautifully directed. David Fincher is a really good director. So I'm in agreement this is a movie I love.

When have they made a Police Procedural as intense and entertaining since 7 ?

Show Girls was released on the same day as this movie, Sept 22, 1995. I remember cause I went to both on the same weekend. There are highs and there are lows, and then there is naked Jessie.

The original ending was to have the fetus in the box at the end. That would have blown the roof off theaters.

    Where did you hear this?

I love this film. Seeing this article reminded me to get my friends to watch it with me. They haven't seen it yet!

I think Se7en, along with Zodiac and Benjamin Button, is Fincher's best work. Screw Fight Club. :)

    For JLTucker:
***SPOILER*** Quite a few years back there was a great article in an old "Premiere" magazine about some of the studio's issues with some specific content. Andrew Kevin Walker originally penned that the baby was cut out of her and left in the box. The studio balked and they rewrote so it would contain the head. They also apparently toned down the metal dildo scene and the overweight body scene. Can't imagine what the reaction would have been with the baby. In retrospect it was probably a wise decision.
