It's pretty sad that Iron Man basically "kills" Captain America in the Civil War Series. So, if that really is Captain America's Shield that's some Irony.

if Pitt was bigger he'd fit the role of Thor but as he is, that would make Thor look really tiny since he's suppose to look like a viking/body builder. Face wise hands down he should get the part.

Also thats awesome how the majority of us totally missed the Cap.A shield loving how Marvel is playing out there movies so far

Why would Tony Stark be building a shield for Captain America before he even knows Captain America exists? Spurious.

Tyler Mane is actually a pretty good actor. He just had ZERO lines in X-Men. (And portraying a character with no dialogue is harder than it looks.)

And I wonder why no one points out that Wolverine is under 5 and a half feet tall but they hired a 6'2'' Hugh Jackman to play him when they talk about casting choices? Heck, the new Sabretooth, Liev Schrieber, is only an inch or so taller than Hugh Jackman, which is going to remove all references to "runt" from the script.

A 6 foot Thor doesn't bother me. All he has to do is deliver his lines and be a badass.

The idea is that Tony Stark is building a shield of some sort that he might give to Captain America later on - not that he's building it specifically for Captain America. Besides, the shot is so quick that it'll end up being an easter egg if it pans out at all.

Brad Pitt would be very good. He has the ability to be a badass and I'm sure can work out and look ripped, but he is also supposed to be a weak sickly character when he is not Thor, I'm sure Pitt can pull off both well.

Brad Pitt is a helluva good actor with a good foriegn accent in Snatch, but not so good in 7 years in Tibet (though I loved them both) I think we all know he'd do the role of Thor justice. I don't think he's as schmooped as dumb Ben Affleck as the Dare Devil. I think the Marvel fanbase would accept Pitt as Thor, and I hope Marvel connects as many of these worlds as possible. I hope to see Toby Mcguire with Fantastic Four, and dumb ben Affleck could be there too. They all hung out from time to time, and why wouldn't Marvel try to "mack" on the monopolizing of it all.Fans are only gonna love the interplay all the more between the movies.Gotta go cause justice is calling me..........

I would love to see Brad Pitt as Thor. I think he would do an excellent job. I would also love to see Matthew MacConnehey do Captain America. He actually does a great job with most of his movies. What is wrong with a Texas accent any way? I am from Texas. I still think Wonder Woman should be Jennifer Love Hewitt or Jessica Biel.

I have to agree with Cortez. Triple H for Thor all the way. He already has the look, the muscular stature to pull the role off, and he has the acting ability. I mean just look at wrestling, some of the best acting I have ever seen and in front of a live audience. Triple H for Thor all the way!

I'm sorry but pitt defo should be Thor, although Triple H has the build for it he is like the worst for accents. I mean Pitt could easily be made to look a little bulkier it's been done in the past. Look at the film Arthur, on the cover of the DVD and for advertising purposes KKiera Knightly chest was enlarged 2/3 cup sizes where as she is actually very flat chested adn do you really think Robbie Coltrain is like 8ft tall. I think not and he play Hagrid in Harry Potter for god sake!!

Brad Pitt as thor, NO WAY. Brad Pitt as Captain America, much better. Arnold Shwarzanegger in his younger years would have been perfect as THOR. Now, they would have to find somebody with the same features, and built.

Brad pitt would not be able to carry it out, it would be tragic, and a waste. HIm as CAPTAIN would be perfect. That would be fantastic!!!
