Am I the only one that thinks this looks like crap?
Mickey Rourke looks like Iron Man's "hip" Grandpa who's in a Rolling Stones Techno cover band...
This doesn't hype me up for this film at all...

I think it looks cool. And like the article says, ..."there might be more advanced versions of a suit later on in the film." The suit so far, looks somewhat like how Whiplash looks in the comics. I think we're seeing Rourke's face and body because face and body obscured characters don't help to humanize characters in movies - it doesn't translate well and we don't connect with them.(Astronauts in full space walk suits etc.) That's why we've often seen Spider-Man without his mask and even in Iron Man they've found a way for us to see Tony Stark behind his mask looking at the computer displays. Agree or not, I think Favreau & company already proved to us that the Iron Man franchise is in capable hands. I am looking forward to this one! Any pics of Scarlett as the Black Widow yet?

Probably the same progression as the first movie - the cheap handmade suit, then the cooler but not perfect suit and by the end of the movie he will probably be in a kick ass, butt whipping (weeeooo I made a pun!) suit that is as cool as the Iron Man armor was. There is no way Favreau would work so hard to make Iron Man's armor look so good in the first one then leave Whiplash's to stay this basic in the sequel.

I love the Rourke. Never get tired of his antic and melting face. psyched for Iron Man 2!
