I'm not expecting much from this. The games were a lot of fun, but I can honestly say that I didn't play a single one that had ANY instance where I said "Hey, this would make a good movie!' They are never going to take the time to do it right.

If they want to do a successful Tomb Raider movie, they need to work on a great script. That should be the priority. Afterwards, just find a hot chick who has some acting chops. We're not looking for a Meryl Streep type acting skill, more like Elizabeth Banks. Not that I'd cast her, just saying an actress with her type acting skills, no less.

Stick her in super short shorts and a tight white shirt, and guys everywhere will see it. The first time will be because of the hot chick thing. All the other times will be because of the great story they never expected to see (okay, maybe it will be about the hot chick thing lol) That would make enough movie to have the whole thing be worth while.

She's British. She has breasts.

She does that monotone thing like Angelina does that people mistake for acting.

i have never seen any movie potential in Tomb Raider! ever! like a poor man's Indiana Jones..
there are far better games out there more deserving of movies..Halo, Gears of War, Bioshock..etc..

I see you only started playing video games since the xbox. Tomb Raider is an awesome game franchise and well deserving of a movie. It's had its ups and downs, and isn't extremely popular in these days, but the fact that it continued through the years is a testament to its greatness. It also has a way better setup for a franchise than the others you mentioned as it doesn't have a defined plot(regarding plots, YOU must be joking recommending Halo or Gears). It's only a basic setting - rich british girl is an action hero who fights bad guys through a series of cool adventures. It has the potential to be a James Bond where others don't - especially now with an actor switch up.

However, I don't see this movie doing anything spectacular anyway, so what do I care.

Amen. I think it would be incredible to have a large franchise carried by a female hero. Just...not by Megan Fox.

And I'm torn about Rhona Mitra, because, sure, it would be awesome to make Fure interview her again purely for how awkward the first time was. But, I'd have to interview her again, too, and that was even more awkward.

Oh, Paige. How you love your Megan Fox editorials. We should devote an entire section to you called "Fox Hunt." i bet it'd be the 3rd most popular feature on the site by week's end, once again proving 1) People think Megan Fox is hot, and 2) there are inevitably guys who want to hear a girl rant about another girl being hot.

I wouldn't see the film with or without Fox, but that has more to do with the fact that Tomb Raider films are horrible.

The franchise has the potential as long as princess poutty lips stays far far away. I know Rhona Mitra did some press for it but how about that Bond Girl Eva Green. I think she would be perfect.

Jen has the lips and the general facial features and the totally not so girly kick-ass personality and natural grace that Megan Fox could never carry to the role. It would be AWESOME to see her play the role and yes, she does a British accent occasionally (for fun).

Honestly, I think Megan Fox looks kinda cheap, like a hussy; Angelina is way more dignified and honest.
