I think a sequel or prequel would be great, as long as Miller writes and Snyder directs. I will not be impressed with some money grab

    I LIKE CAPS LOCK!

(I think that s sequel would be great. If handled correctly.)

A sequel or a prequel would be pretty kick ass, but I agree, Miller needs to write and Snyder needs to direct.

Oh great, another war-promoting propaganda film! 300 was pretty to look at, bet nearly everything it had to say was crap. Nix.

Obviously any sequel/prequel that was handled correctly would be great, but I think we may end up with a Troy like film. However, sequels nowadays seem to be inevitable so as long as its extremely quotable and has some cool deaths, then I'm happy.

For me the big plus is the involvement of Frank Miller. The plan is to adapt his new graphic novel prequel or sequel to 300. That could make all the difference in the quality. Miller's pretty picky about how his work is used and I don't seem him settling for his name on a lousy follow up.

Yes! Yes! Must be done by Miller and Snyder. And Gerard Butler again
(probably prequel) That would be the Ultimate in my eyes, I know I speak
for thousands of fans. I know I would love to see how Leo became king,
how he met his wife, what other training he got in between.

Frank Miller, Zach Snyder, and Gerard Butler proved themselves to be a formidable combination in the original 300. A prequel using the talents of all three would draw a huge audience perhaps bigger than the first time around.

Hi all fans of "300." I agree a prequel would be great. That way we will see Gerard Butler again and see how he met the love of his life and perhaps some history leading up to the Hot Gates. Please don't let it be soooo long before the prequel...we Gerard Butler fans are aching for BURNS and sequel to Phantom, so the poor man needs enough time to fit all of our requests in. CORRECTO?

PS. MILLER, SNYDER and BUTLER have to be involved in the prequel, but definitely. Otherwise, I don't think my friends and family would be interested. That is the excitment of follow up on the orginal. "300" was breathtaking and my family and I continue to enjoy the DVD.

If, let's say, Frank Miller decided to depict the how they met between King Leonidas and Gorgo, there's a little difficulty if he stuck to history.
Gorgo was the half niece of King Leonidas.
So maybe he'd change it to something more like a Spartan Death Match Dot Com where the King meets Gorgo online.
