Film School Rejects: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

    I got to see an advanced screening of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with a Q&A with Robert Downey Jr. I was really impressed with the film and laughed in several scenes. I was sorry that it didnt recieve more attention.

    See, I thought the movie was funny here and there..but was trying a bit too hard to be hip and edgy, especially with the "I have ADD narrating." Like as if Downey Jr. and Kilmer were drowning their sorrows in a bar somewhere and decided that they needed a hip and edgy movie to resurrect their careers. They wanted a Pulp Fiction to happen to their careers like Bruce Willis and John Travolta. I thought it was a solid C+, worth seeing but not advertising to friends
