Hey... Im one of the few who diggs the Original film.. its terrible as a film - but man did I love it..

Frank Langella in Frost/Nixon? Pffft... Skeletor!

Im excited to hear and see some stills for this - but it will only work if they keep it true to the original concepts.. few heroes, few villians, fantasy setting with a touch of humor to keep it grounded...

I am there with you Brent, it had very good costumes and the swords were frigging awesome, Jody Samson who made the swords for the Conan movies crafted them. Not to mention the FX wasn't bad for the time.

But they had to fall back on the same stupid formula that the cartoons of the time had going on. No matter how serious the story or characters there had to be a stupid/funny side kick involved, and that ruined the movie for me.
