Film School Rejects: Jim Sturgess is Heartless, This Poster Proves It

Rob Hunter · 1 year agoPhilip Ridley has made at least one movie that I've heard of Neil... The Reflecting Skin is an excellent mindf*ck of a movie that I recommend to anyone who enjoys dark, twisted, challenging films. It's beautifully shot, haunting, and well worth searching out. Plus it has some Viggo for the ladies! It can be a slow movie though... And the damn thing is hard as hell to find at any reasonable price.

Terri · 9 months agoWould I make a deal with the devil to be as good-looking as Jim Sturgess? Don't get me wrong, I'd do JS in a minute, but he's more baby-faced cute and endearingly quirky than the sickeningly pretty or rakish sexybastard type. He's a different sort of casting choice also in that he's so sweet-looking, you wouldn't think of him for the bad guy. But he's great, I'm sure he'll make something worthwhile out of it, even if he's the only good thing in the movie.

stevenedmondson · 3 months agoPhilip Ridley is probably a genius. The Reflecting Skin is phenomenal, as is The Passion of Darkly Noon. They're not as unknown as you make out and definitely not worth overlooking either.
