to answer your last question, Neil:

    Yes, yes I'm excited.

Shaka Zoollu in space, I so don't give a crap about this film. Also why is it that Cameron always seems to be in all the pictures from behind the scenes. Man what a huge ego that guy has.

i, too, am excited to check this out. what's the release date, TBA December 09?

and i think the recent rumors put a teaser trailer (if one could ever get approved) before Transformers 2. not sure on that one though.

If it follows thru with what Cameron is promising then yes I will be excited to go and see this movie. But if it takes 2 hours of awe and wonder on how great this new world is then I will give it a "no".

Excited for the movie, but not for the inevitable flood of Na'vi porn on the internet.

hey, haven't you saw this plot before in Dancing with Wolves and the Last Samurai? the Story is THE SAME,

def. psyched for this movie. i've been sad that he's been gone for so long but can't wait for his return.

also auguman, i think there is more to the story than previously stated. just be patient and revel in the fact that one of the greatest is back!

It's about time Cameron got back to the world of SciFi; I thought we lost him for a while. So, yes I have very high hopes. So, James, the pressure is on!

I'm uneasy about this movie...first I love Cameron although I really disliked Titanic...now the fact the marketing machine hasn't moved quicker on this is a red flag to it's quality or the studio's inability to market it to the general public....what have we seen since the actual live-action scenes wrapped in 2007? a bunch of images of Cameron himself behind the scenes.. which is kind of lame aside to the fact of him wearing a Battle Angel t-shirt...they could have released actual stills from the live action scenes...they couldn't have done everything with a green screen...human character shots would be great...I'm wondering what Weaver looks like in this thing rather than Sam Worthington... even production art samples would have been great promotion in the early stages of the film...

now if we don't see a trailer by the end of Spring...I have no idea if Fox will be able to make their money back on the project...it's an original film with no fan following...this thing could tank just on the 3D concept alone, it's been shown that 3D isn't enough to get people in seats...it's been 12 years since the average movie going public has heard Cameron's name involved with a film...so having his name attached isn't enough to get the average person to see the movie...there has been a lot of hype on this project although we have nothing to base this on besides a few leaked script pages....

while I have interest only on the basis that I love Cameron's science fiction....Fox and Cameron need to get this out there online to gather up a group of people dying to see this..other than die hard Cameron fans and people like us who have added it to our anticipated films of 2009....it's a huge gamble for Fox because this maybe it's only big hit this year and if it tanks it's going to be a disaster for the studio...it could happen stranger things have happened...Cameron may think being so restrictive with information about the film makes it more interesting... it could be hindering interest in it and somewhat of a backlash...why wait so long to release images, websites and trailers?...this isn't Titanic or Dark Knight somewhat based in reality...generally women don't watch science fiction so I have no idea if they will end up getting Dark Knight or Titanic box office numbers....

wow you people are too quick to judge. the CGI looks incredible. too many nay-sayers. leave that for the critics. and i'm tired of this crap where people judge a film before they even see it. and plenty of people set their expectations way too high for certain things. god, it's a ****ing movie. take it for what it is. like you could do better.

i look forward to it. i've always liked cameron.

Enjoyed the original Terminators --made decades ago.

So sad to watch "I made my fortune" Cameron descending into
pumping out circle-jerk fantasies for the sofa pigs of the comfort-zone.
    -The last thing we need.

Meanwhile it's official -America -and especially Hollywood are the
junk-credit flunkies of the most awesome genocidal monsters in
    world history ---across the Pacific.

-That's right folks -70,000,000 murders -in 'peacetime' -in
the name of 'social justice and the people' ---completely
    unoutted and unanswered for.

70 million! -Check it out for yourself. Of course you'll have to
because you'll never get a clue about it from market-suckers
like Cameron or the rest of Hollywood.

70 million! -No kidding ------Check it out
