I've heard this for a long time about how vindictive the people at Fox are....they are so hardheaded they'll spend millions developing a project and then kill it just to make a point to someone involved...what that point is that they care more about making money than creative freedom....I thing the long string of awful movies proves that point they don't have one creative person running that studio

Fox be power trippin'....and sadly, it's almost always about the money, I doubt things will ever change.

Gotta take statements like this with a grain of salt. Sly marketing has become a Hollywood art form. Britney Spears came into my gym one day and caused a big brew-ha-ha with the paparazzi. We all know there's no other reason for Brit to go to "Bally Total Fitness" than to be seen (like she doesn't have a gym at home and 20 personal trainers on standby).

ANYTHING could be a publicity stunt, including David Hayter's remarks or Christian Bale's rant. You get your name in the papers, then suddenly, everyone pays attention... Free advertising for the project you're working on!

Hayter is my hero for this. Fox deserves an exorcism for The Day the Earth Stood Still remake alone.

I'm pretty sure they aren't in league with Satan. Because if they were they'd be make much better movies. Movies that contained lots of boobies, blood, violence, foul language, and did I mention boobies. Although I do agree that they wanted to get their hands on a some of what I'm positive will be a super-awesome WATCHMEN movie check.
