Film School Rejects: It’s Alive Trailer Hits the Internets

I don't quite follow the logic behind "It's Alive" being a remake of "Rosemary's Baby" (sequel maybe...) but I do agree Cohen's original was definitely creepy. This new one looks like it could be fun, aside from the fact that I just don't feel threatened by something smaller than a badger.

    Unless it is a badger.

Let's say you see a movie about an unstoppable killing machine cyborg call THE TERMINATOR and you say to yourself, "Wow! What if the cyborg knew fake-movie-kung-fu?" And then you make a movie called CYBORG with Jean Claude Van Damme. I would pretty much call that a remake. I suppose most would call it a knock-off.

Or... with the badassery of Jean Claude Van Damme... would that be... A KNOCK OUT?

    Yeah. I got nothin'.

I have no idea what 'Mister Hand' was talking about but I think its a creepy scary movie.

Describing "Q" with the word "best" invalidates every thing that comes after it. I see where you're coming from with the Rosemary's Baby reference, though I wouldn't use that argument often because then every movie is merely inspired by something that came before.

But this remake does have a striking resemblance to a pile of doo.
