I stayed at the boy scout camp that you are referring to. It's an awesome experience if you love the movie. I got to stay in the counselors cabin where you can still see the nail holes from the crystal lake sign on either side of the door. The window in the kitchen where a body came through. Lots of fun.

My in-laws are from this area of Jersey. The word "kill" is all over the map in that part of the country. But, "kill" in this area is a Dutch word, not the English word. "Kill" means a place with fish I believe. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. - Sorry to be a nitpicking doofus.
