    Ditto.

I hear ya... but since they're inevitable, wouldn't you rather they be in capable hands?

You'd want cameron diaz as lady vengeance, seriously?? But let's note those are two quotes fused together and he actually doesn't bring any of them up in the context of vengeance.

Do you mean Charlize Theron? Yes, I'd want her. (But no to Diaz.)

This is much much MUCH better news than the rumors of Spielberg and Will Smith remaking Oldboy.... If they have to remake one of the three, I'd rather it be this one; and I agree, it'd be in good hands with Danny Boyle.

If Danny Boyle leaves the project I won't be supporting it...

give it to boyle. seriously this man raised the bar this year.much like everyone else im sick of remakes BUT either way i can go back to park's original.compared to the decisions for oldboy this seem safe..er(?)

It's not going to make sense as an American movie. The whole tofu thing is strictly a Korean custom. Also this movie isn't even five years old. Hollywood please stop remaking movie that just came out. Have an original thought for once!

Why couldn't it take place within a Korean or Asian community somewhere in the States? That works for me, but I live in Taiwan. Hey, there's an idea --- set the remake in Taiwan . . . has anyone seen Double Vision? Now there's a creepy film.
