Film School Rejects: Interview: Kevin Reynolds Looks Back at ‘Fandango’

Cool interview Cole, I would have loved more discussion on Waterworld. I know that Reynolds was fired after he turned in his cut of the film, and then Costner re-edited the entire film.

I've been wondering where this guy has been ??? Hopefully he starts making films again.

Thanks for the interview Cole. I love Reynolds as a director and I never really get to read interviews by him because he doesn't do many. I would've liked more discussions on stuff like Waterworld, Rapa Nui, Robin Hood, etc. But, I have to admit, it was great to have an opportunity to get a glimpse into this guy's brain. And I totally agree with him about modern cinema. It's in a sad state and I'm afraid it may never return.
