    I think that Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey were VERY funny in this film. Everyone was right on, with there character's. Including mister "his carrer is over" Tom Cruise, who's dances and one liners kept the movie going outside of the main cast. One of my favorite lines was "We don't negotiate with terrorists." But Jack Black was funny exactly when he needed to be. Downey Jr. was incredible and Stiller was funny as always. I think that the best movies of the summer went like this...

    1. The Dark Knight-Seen it 3 1/2 times.
    2. Tropic Thunder
    3.Iron Man.

    I can understand the annoying controversy surrounding this movie in today's uber-offended scociety; however, just because some people don't get the joke, doesn't mean that a guy in black face is acceptable in this day and age. Yet when you think about it you imagine what a film like Blazing Saddles would do if it was made today. I haven't watched the film yet, because I dispise Ben Stiller and Jack Black; however, as I trust your judgement in film flesh I will give it a try.

    Ha. Total crap. This kind of low-brow, so-called humor is easily understood. That doesn't make it creative and/or intelligent humor. Just cheap crap.Any 13 year old boy can write the stuff in TT.
    Remember ,the film industry is all about the bottom line. (profits).
    This stuff is created to appeal to the lowest common denominator and it looks like this site is the same.I am definitely in the wrong place.

    Take this film as it is, "I jus know the sound of it when it lies" funniest film since Blazin' Saddles. I love it. Tom C is awesome. I will watch this over n over again. Brilliant x

    Btw I wud watch this film any day of the week over the Dark Knight n I lv those kinda movies. But the Dark Knight was way below average. Get Back Mutha Fuckers U Dnt Know Me Like That!
