Twilight Saga: New Moon Sets Records, Hauls in $140 million
I don't think it was the "non-sense theology" as you say, but the fact that this disease with "rabie" like symptoms turned it's victims into superhuman zombies. It was cheesy. I mean these suckers could pick Will up and toss him across the room no problem. Weren't they suppose to be sick. And I didn't mind the narraration, it was a lazy way to get it in..but I though it emphasized the lonliness and desolation of the situation. And I agree there was not enough development on those characters..it made no sense. They were just flung in there. and the butterfly was lame but it was nice to see someone actually take a risk and throw in a line or two about God. It's not somthing you see everyday. But i think The Omega Man was better. Nice line about Rudy..haha.
The only thing that annoyed me about the film other than the shoddy CGI, was the major glaring plot hole (although there were other smaller ones), the film went to great efforts to show the Manhattan bridges being destroyed to cut off the island from the mainland. How then I wonder, do the woman and boy get to Manhattan to save Nevilles life?
