I'd prefer they focussed on allowing people outside the US to use their services

I have no idea why NBC, MTV USA and Comedy Central pulls this stuff at least with Canadians...we get all their US Networks here when it comes to Comedy Central, NBC and MTV....I remember when C.C., MTV and NBC first started their VOD service online it didn't have any restrictions..around two years later they pull the plug..it's not like they can't allow access they just don't want countries who have weak piracy laws to have access to the material...although anyone with recording software and TV card can make their own collection of their shows on their own... without the help of online bootleggers....

Hulu on the other hand might have issues with the foreign distributors when it comes to the ability for us to view the streaming movies...I've noticed YouTube has recently removed Embedding from music videos...it's not stopping anytime soon and I don't expect to see Hulu Canada or UK either...

Gah! Why does it always have to be about you, you, you.

Seriously though, you make an interesting point. Though I'm sure an iPhone app is a much smaller task than turning on international support. That is assuming that turning on streams for the rest of you isn't just a switch in a backroom somewhere. If so, that's just cruel.

yeah sorry, I've come to realise maybe I'm a bit too negative in my postings, I'll try to be more positive from now on.
