Elizabeth · 9 months agoThank you for this. My dad made me watch this film years ago because he told me it could show me what bravery and heroism were really about. He wasn't wrong. It remains one of my absolute favorites and I recommend it to anyone that I can.

Larry Brewer · 8 months agoI remember this film from years ago. Didn't know much about the pre-wars years of Murphy. Sounds like he would have been a hero even if he had never put on a uniform. An amazing person if there ever was.

Raul Soto · 4 days agoI was a young recruit in August 1955 when Audie Murphy came to San Antonio to promote the movie To Hell and Back. I, among other recruits joining the Army that month, were very fortunate to have had Audie Murphy participate in our swearing-in ceremony at the Majestic Theater and tagged as "the Audie Murphy platoon". I have never been able to find a photo of that occasion and would appreciate any leads I could pursue.
