Yeesh, that video player is terrible! The audio's fine, but the video is playing a frame every few seconds. Good thing it's just a trailer for G.I. Joe....

Really? We haven't heard of such problems yet. In fact, I just ran the trailer again and it was perfectly smooth...

    Interesting.

It sounds like a computer or connection problem because it played through for me dandily. Well the picture was good the stuff on the screen looked like shit but you can't blame the player for that lol

when hes a ninja in a movie like this there is no needs for logic. Maybe he is maybe hes not. If he is then he is the only person who should have one due to the fact its not ugly. Infact his out fit he wears is vary sexy.

The way I look at these old cartoons, we 30somethings grew up watching and loved, is they can be updated. Yes, the source material is limited, but why does it have to stay completely kid friendly? The core audience are not kids anymore. I'm not saying to make it TDK gritty, in fact, it bothers me when so many cry for darker - heck, I like dark movies as much as the next person, but not everything needs to be dismal.
With the GI Joe movie I was hoping to see something that looked a little like the cartoon (i.e. uniforms) and story/action that would please the adults and keep the kids entertained. Stephen Sommers doesn't know that balance he likes to shoot movies with too much CGI and somehow littered with one-liners. This is his idea of a family friendly movie, but really it's crap.
A couple of months ago I watched GI Joe: Resolution on Cartoon Network and that was a nicely updated GI Joe, sure there was still a little bit of cheese, but on a whole I thought it was good.
