Film School Rejects: Gabriel Macht Defends Frank Miller’s Vision for The Spirit

Alericc · 1 year agoI think the old adage, "We had to destroy the Village to save it." is being used here to it ultimate extreme. I for one would have thought Miller would have understood that the more you deviate from the comic the more it becomes less like the product people grew to like and expect. After all this concept has not worked for the likes of Spiderman and the first Hulk movie.

Ann · 1 year agoI'm going to see this and enjoy it. I'm sure that, not being a total dork, I don't care that The Spirit's gear isn't blue. I think the cast is good, they've struck the right tone and it seems all the bitching is coming from people who live in Mom and Dad's basement and only communicate via the Internet. Those of us who have lives like black clothes as well as blue.
