    Hey somebody had to say it! : ) But you forgot about all the white kids that are wanna-bes. They'll be the only ones who pay full admission. Everyone else will bootleg. Speakin of..Im putting "F.U." on my list.
    But KCarr hit the nail on the head. "Give me a little more Madea, and I’d love this movie. But otherwise, it’s nothing more than a grown up after-school special."

    I'll admit here that I am not as huge of a Star Wars fan as the traditional moviegoer who will see Fanboys...but having said that...I still thought the movie was extremely funny. While the momentum of the plot did seem to dip a little here and there, it was overall a solid story...and the plethera of cameos helped the movie along in leaps and bounds (even the bone that was tossed in for Star Trek fans). It was well worth the NYC price I paid for the movie ticket...and I'm sure it will eventually end up in my DVD collection.

    I agree with pretty the grades given to these flicks for the most part, but I'd have given MADEA GOES TO JAIL a D. I'm getting tired of Tyler Perry making the same movie over and over again, by just repackaging the flick with a new title and peppering in different actors here and there. I did enjoy the bouncing cheerleaders though!

    HUHHHHHHH YOU PEOPLE just don't get it do you? Tyler Perry is here to stay. You can do your report cards, and your other * extra activities* concerning the matter, but all you have to do is READ THE NUMBERS ON MONDAY MORNING and then go take a nap.

    Tyler Perry and his fans are here to stay and we will continue to BREAK numbers on opening weekend. OKAY? Tell me YOU PEOPLE got that? If not OH WELL.......... see ya on JUDGEMENT DAY.

    it's kinda sad that mediocrity is celebrated as a formidable form of entertainment. I first saw Perry's work in play form, and I would hope that said "fans" would ask more from their hero than the same BS. it's not about the numbers. we can get numbers from bruckheimer produced celluloid summer drivel.
    maybe, just maybe "us people" have it.
    and we won't let the shinola stand. and judgement day should be for hack talent.
