While not the first choice for handling X-Men, something tells me that the man who gave us Seth Cohen on the OC, one of the geekiest characters ever on TV, should be able to do justice to the property.

Honestly though, it seems he'd be better suited to creating an X-Men TV series. If you transferred the teenage drama from Gossip Girls/OC to the Xavier Institute, I'd think you'd have something that'd kick the pants off of Smallville :)

Yeah who ever thought that this guy can do this is stoned, so we are basically gonna have whinier, bitchier, and younger versons of X-Men characters.

Seems a little sensationalist to write about a story like this and cherry pick the O.C. and Gossip Girl from his resume, while conveniently forgetting that he also wrote Chuck, a television show whose premise and themes pretty strongly mirror those of a superhero story.

yea you didn't give the man enough justice by totally omitting the fact that he did 'Chuck' - an awesome action-comedy spy-fi which shows that he's about as capable in doing action as much as teen soap.
