Boiling Point: Too Early to Talk Avatar?
More prominent in Quantum is the Ford Edge, which is branded as a hydrogen vehicle in the movie. The Edges used in the movie weren't actual hydrogen vehicles, but Ford actually does have a fuel cell hybrid electric plug-in research program using the Edge.
I think the main takeaway from the use of "green" vehicles in QoS is two-fold: 1) it's a sign of the times, and 2) it makes plot sense (environmentalism being important to the story).
