Film School Rejects: First Look: Speed Racer Photos and Behind-the-Scenes Footage!

Trippy. Looks like a Tim Burton flick.

Sadly, though, amongst the films of '08 this probably does not make my Top 5 or maybe even 10. I was never a Speed Racer fan and though it looks like it'll be pretty vivid I doubt there will be much substance. I don't think Matthew Fox will be able to have any fun with this role, I hope he loosens up. Additionally, what is up with ET always referring to Joel Silver as the "Super Producer??" Is this a nickname Mel Gibson gave him, in addition to "No Good Jew?"

Josh -- I was annoyed by that as well. I kept wondering to myself, "What's with the Joel Silver knob slobbering?" Did he pay them for this?

If you watched it tonight, you would have seen even more of the Joel Silver love fest. It was so bad that I had to go puke, causing me to miss the world premiere of the 'Speed Racer' trailer.
