Film School Rejects: Exclusive: The Making of G.I. Joe’s Girl-on-Girl Action

I know a lot of people here at FSR did enjoy GI Joe, but that opening line of "[we] got out in support... right before it became a late summer surprise" sounds like one of those douchebaggy "I liked that band before it was cool" statements.

Of course, I wasn't allowed anywhere near a pre-screening or pre-event, so I didn't get a chance to get on any sort of wagon.

You're right. I'm such a damn hipster these days. Must be the living in Austin thing...

Anyway, I was on the wagon early. This movie surprised a few people by not sucking donkey balls. Robert Fure is a beautiful man. That is all.

Sorry Neil, but this movie did suck Donkey Balls, they simply distracted you from the taste of those balls with the scene highlighted above.

Agreed. Except even the lame chick fight couldn't wash away the taste of ass balls.

I'm just busting some balls. I trust Neil not to be swayed into giving bullshit reviews. Mainly because studios don't cater to us and give us free shit like set visits.

In fact, other than Neil/Cole/FSR, most of the positive reviews came from websites who did get set visits. What do you think that means?

It means they are sell out and Whores...lol j/k.

Actually it seems the set visits achieved what they intended to do, endear the reviewers to the cast and crew and soften the harsh blow they knew would be coming when the movie was released.

This movie sucked. Well, I could probably have enjoyed it better if I were still 9 and playing with GI Joes... but now, not so much. The CGI was terrible... Stargate terrible. Really, they could have done better...
