I think it says something about a person when the people that work for and claim to love him are afraid to say anything that mat be percieved to be negative which will result in the loss of their jobs. Basically if you agree with Lucas he keeps you around, speak out against him and you are gone.......and that is how we get the shit fest that is episodes I-III.

i love all 6 of the star wars movies. of course, i love the original triology as some of the greatest films ever made, and they are certainly a more well woven story. but i'm sorry, the prequel was fun. and what's his face anakin was super hot in eps 2 and 3.

I didn't like the prequels, I really didn't like the Special Editions. When I think about it though, I could easily forget about the prequels and I could easily forgive Lucas for making the Special Editions if he had just kept them as what they were supposed to be - separate editions to the Original Trilogy. But I can't forgive him for trying to replace the OT with the SEs. The OT were the films that made cinematic history. They should be preserved for all time in their original form. He could alleviate so much fan ire but just releasing a widescreen, digitally remastered version of the Original Trilogy (like they made in 1995 for VHS) on DVD or Blu-Ray. Why he does not do this boggles my mind.
