Twilight Saga: New Moon Sets Records, Hauls in $140 million
2. This trailer looked funny to me.
3. Moore deserves a send-up.
4. When South Park mocks Moore, is it even questioned?
5. Michelle Malkin is hot and no less or more crazy than any opposing counter-part. However, her association with the Conservative base and FOX News apparently makes her the devil. She need not pleasure herself, pass her my phone number.
6. That's "Rosie O'Connell," not Rosie O'Donnell.
7. I think the film could be both "meaningful political," while still being a slap-happy comedy, though it will probably lean mostly towards slap-happy, based on Zucker's previous works.
I'm on board for this film, looks pretty funny in that stupid-funny way. Zucker has some great movies and some terrible ones. Hopefully this is closer to the former.
It is Rosie O'Connell, not O'Donnell...
No one wants O'Donnell.
2. Moore does deserve a send up. Voices of dissent do not.
3. I trust Zucker.
4. Making lists is fun!
5. You find Michelle Malin attractive? Seriously? You're saying that unironically?
Scratch that. Bill O'Reilly is a douchebag. Anything that he's associated with is bound to be douchebaggy. So my prediction is AN AMERICAN CAROL will be douchebaggy. Very, VERY douchebaggy. All politics aside. Regardless of the fact that O'Reilly is nothing but a shill for the Bush White House. And a douchebag.
Is douchebag one word or two words? I'd look it up but I don't want it on the search history for my work computer.
2. Lists are indeed awesome.
3. If the voice of a dissent is an assbag, they deserve a send up. If it was a calm, rational, factual person, then of course, all voices should be heard.
4. Malkin isn't ugly. Google Image search her. The shot of her in the bikini is not bad at all. With some makeup, she's definitely bang-able. But I'd tap Anne Coulter too, so what do I know.
2. Ann Coulter is NOT hawt. NAWT HAWT!
3. And she's a douchebag, too.
4. Michell Malkin makes Ann Coulter look like Bill O'Reilly.
Michael Moore may be (whatever explicative term you want here) but factually he outpaces Bill O'Reilly and most of the conservative movement and I find his movies fun if nothing else.
I think it really says a lot for people's understanding of his movies when he attacks large swaths of the American way of life in "Bowling for Columbine" and he is just glorious, but he goes after a few guys representing an extremist part of a political movement and everyone freaks. I think there was a lot more in "Bowling for Columbine" to be upset about but whatever, you can all go back to watching fox news. I am sorry to report to you all that reality has a liberal bias.
then they post a bunch of stuff by some of our more ' tolerant' and
'compassionate ' lefties calling people ugly and saying they are douchebags....
Am I missing something here ???
2. Bowling for Columbine did make me angry. (I'm an NRA Member, Gun Owner, and Avid Supporter of the 2nd Amendment)
3. I'm 98% certain I'm the only person who even watches Fox News, and I make a habit of NOT watching 24/7 News Networks.
4. Yeah, Cole and Hand explain yourselves! I spoke only of the beauty of the commentators!
5. Lists are still awesome.
2. That is all.
2. After a while, I wised up.
3. I'm a former conservative, now a born again liberal (since 9/11).
4. Recently, I discovered MSNBC and I thought, "Wow! It's like Fox News! Only... for liberals!"
5. Five weeks later, I turned away from MSNBC just as I'd turned away from Fox News. Just a bunch of dumb-ass opinions and no NEWS!
6. Is there any channel where you can get NEWS nowadays? I mean, like... NEWS?
7. Most people don't know what news is anymore, unfortunately.
8. To quote Rob Hunter:
9. "That is all."
10. Just wanted to get to "10."
2. Bad lists (presumably this one) are decidedly non-awesome.
3. Michelle Malkin is totally hot.
4. Ann Coulter was once hot, but she's starting to look a little drawn out.
5. I watch FOX News, but only in the election years.
6. FOX News is awesome, not for its politics, but because it pioneered hot ladies of journalism (see Laurie Dhue and Jennifer Eccleston)
7. This movie looks frickin' hilarious
8. Michael Moore is a douchebag (one word, for effect)
9. I'm intollerant of Cole Abiaius
2. That is all.
2. Lists are easy ways to replace actual composition of thoughtful responses...
3. Kelsey Grammer as Patton? Hehehehehe...
4. Bill O'Liely as Bill O'Liely... didn't anyone else want to play him? Not surprising.
5. Michael Moore is laughing his head off.
2. Michael Moore is a great American?
I’ve been following many of the comments all over the web and find it hilarious that the left is so offended. One comment asked if “librul commies†were ever slave owners and why this movie portrayed them as such. The answer is, yes, “libruls†were slave owners in the American past, just as conservatives were. And some would argue that “commies†are slave owners — or at least slave users — by definition.
For those of you so offended that you wish to leave the country on Opening Day (October 3rd), I encourage you to do so. And, please consider staying out of country until the movie’s run is complete, which probably will be sometime in mid-November.
Further protests by ignoring this year’s election would also be appreciated and respected!
"I’m actually one of the intolerant Lefties."
Naw -- Ya think??
"another snuff film for Michelle Malkin to pleasure herself to."
"more propaganda from famously-right-wing Hollywood" (Add "Astonishingly Delerious" to "intolerant")
BTW,
"Intolerant Leftie" is redundant.
Maybe that's why you guys were film school drop outs. Did your teachers ever tell you that you couldn't see the forest through the trees?
The point of the movie is simple. America is not the bad guy that the left portrays it as. It points out how, for lack of a better word, stupid the left's idea's are. There's a scene in the movie where of couple of catholic priests hi-jack an airplane holding crosses as weapons. After all of the attack on the "Bible-Thumpers" and the "radical religious right" you would think this would be an easy connection to make. But maybe not...
The moral of the story (movie) is simple. The left are idiots for trying to reason that "radical christians" are more dangerous to our country than suicide bombers. It just doesn't make any sense at all. That's why in the movie there's a scene where two nuns get on a bus with explosives strapped to their chest. It just doesn't make any sense.
Could you see the Forest through the Trees? The movie is a spoof of a Christmas Carol, and instead of the Ghost of Christmas Past/Present/Future, you have George Washington, Gen. Patton, and JFK showing Michael Moore what the world would be like if America hadn't bothered to fight the wars we have fought.
Right or Left, noone likes war, but sometimes it is a necessary evil to make the world a better place. And I think history will view our current situation in Iraq in the same light as the Civil War and WWII. We were doing the right thing.
apparently does not pick up on e-sarcasm very well, even if it is slap-you-in-the-face blatant.
"BTW,
“Intolerant Leftie†is redundant."
now c'mon, there are clearly intolerant people on both sides, and it is clearly not everyone from either side. don't be an idiot.
Famously-right-wing Hollywood? Double HA!
That's my list and I'm sticking to it.
1. You got me there. Late at night. Tired. Drunk. Sun was in my eyes.
2. NOW, I finally understand why all the MSM (mainstream media) -- with a straight face -- state that, of COURSE there is no left-wing bias in their "journalism". It's just their live version of "e-sarcasm" and I'm just too much of an idiot to see it! (And all this time I just thought they considered us so stupid that we would believe anything they repeate often enough.)
3. Love how you call me an idiot without TECHNICALLY calling me an idiot. Linguistic gymnastics kinda like Slick Willie teaching us all the meaning of "parse" from years of trying to figure out what he said versus what was true.
4. "Intolerant Leftie" is still redundant. Here's a little rule of thumb: When you see a speaker on a campus getting shouted down and his speech drowned out by an unruly mob you can bet you're seeing a fine example of the "tolerance" of the left towards anyone to the right of Stalin. When was the last time you saw the College Republicans do that to an ultra-lib speaker (like their typical professor or almost anyone with an American newspaper or TV "reporter" gig).
5. So, yeah, I'll give you that intolerance can be found on the right as well as the left, but the right is made up of rank amateurs compared to the left, where intolerance has been raised to the level of a religion. I'll give you a dollar for every intolerant rightie if you'll give me a penny for every intolerant leftie.
It's as if this were the VERY FIRST E-V-A-H film made with "political" satire!
...only thing, folks...for decades it's come virtually 100% from the Leftist - ahem - "perspective" (see...it must be "propaganda" only when it comes from the Right...from what one reads...heh).
NOW, there are suddenly cloned-"Louis Renaults" everywhere, who are "shocked! SHOCKED!" at this film.
THIS FILM has LESS TO DO WITH RIDICULING MICHAEL MOORE than with RIDICULING AND HELPING TO DEFANG THE VIRAL AMERICA-HATRED promoted by far-too-many on the Left...with Mr. Moore being only one such bum.
2. I enjoyed them.
3. This is a small movie that the left and right are hyping way too much.
4. How much did Superhero Movie do? I should be right around there unless FOX promotes it 24/7. However there demo is older people that have not gone to the movies since John Wayne died.
5. I thought the trailer looked funny.
6. Moore is a douche it like O'Reilly started to believe that his poop did not stink.
7. I really wanted to make 10, dang.
