No. Do NOT watch Dr Who S4 first. The show has a lot of standalone episodes, yes, but there's a thread of an ongoing story (particularly regarding companions and enemies) that will be ruined if you start with S4. Best start with S1, but keep in mind that the show really hits its stride in S2 (so persevere with the teething problems S1 had). You should hopefully be loving it by the end of S2, and S3 and S4 will make twice as much sense. You wouldn't watch Buffy S4 first would you? It's kinda the same thing. 70% of it would still be perfectly watchable, but you'd ruin the better 30% mythology-based stuff by watching it out of order.

And the issue of Billie Piper -- is she in it?

Say yes and I will go buy seasons 1-4 right now...

Dan and Nathan, British or American? Just wondering because except for the real fanatical fans over here its kind of seen as very tounge in cheek case in point Extras the Special.

Also whats the FSR teams opinion on other British shows and comedians? Favorites and such.

I officially love everything British... most notably, Billie Piper.

Ok ok I must admit I saw both Sisterhood of the Travelling pants. The movie is pretty descent but the science of a pair of pants being able to fit all girls (I meant not all of them in it I meant one by one) is quite impossible. Unless Gap has released a super stretchy material that we don't know of.
For my opinion about Wu: The Story of the Wu-Tang Clan DVD, I have no interest for unless I was a Tupac Shakur wannabe or Eminem fan (which I'm not) I wouldn't be reccommending on watching that crap.
The best one should be in your DVD collection is Monty Python Holy Trinity. I know they'll push out another DVD collection but for now for anyone who is Monty Python fan should buy this. Tropic Thunder was ok I loved Tom Cruises cheesy greasy character very classic.

I picked up WALL-E. I might pick up the 300 DVD and maybe I'll get Sisterhood 2 if my sisters want it. Today is one of my sister's birthday and I got her something already. Wouldn't mind getting her Sisterhood, though. Only if she wants it.

WALL-E is the best Pixar film tied to "Finding Nemo." The storyline was brilliant and the emotions were sweet.

Billie Piper is only in season 1 & 2, I believe that is correct.

There's no point of getting Jeff Dunham's special unless you're a diehard fan. All you have to do is DVR one of the nonstop airings on Comedy Central.
  • Davebaxter1989 · 1 year ago
WHHHOOOAAAA! Just read your Jeff Dunham review part and couldn't disagree more. Not about Dunham mind you I have no idea who he is but on your assertion that one comedian DVDs are a bad idea. Here in the UK this run up to Christmas is the traditional time that stand-up comedians release there new DVDs and as I look at stand-up sub section of my DVD collection and it has the funniest DVDs of all. Billy Connolly 9 DVDs, Jack Dee 5 DVDs, Ricky Gervais 3 DVDs, Bill Bailey 4 DVDs, Russell Brand 2 DVDs and my newly watched Frankie Boyle and Russell Howard DVDs that I couldn't be without. So it would seem that there is a slight difference across the sea.
