I just sat down and watched this and I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one, Hunter. I'll spot you the lack of character development on the team, which was unfortunate because a few had the possibility of being pretty funny. And there were a lot of fart jokes and fart sounds.

But overall the sheer stupidity of this movie rocked me. It did lack plot, but it was absurd and vulgar and crass enough to make me laugh. Also, I'm completely in manlove with Seann William Scott.

I dug it. Though some parts weren't much of a stretch from Harold and Kumar. Either way, I laughed a good bit.

I also have to disagree Hunter. I watched it last night and I was laughing my ass off. It was funny. period. I'm gonna have to be cautious of your comedy taste if you rate Role Models ahead of Balls Out. Yeah, as previously stated the team character developments are not full, but I feel Gary is the a dominant enough character to carry the laughs and keep the movie moving forward.

Oh, and favorite parts for me were the funeral scene and the mosh pit at the Harvest Dance where Gary feels the vibe and lets loose. The ending is pretty cool too. Lots of laughs throughout for me. If I had to pick a similar type of movie Balls Out reminds me of, I guess I would say Election. It's definately a dark comedy.

This movie was awesome!!!!! I saw it on JustinTV and it was hillarious. I google the release date to the movie theatre and to my surprise Gary the Tennis Coach is going straight to DVD. Who's call was that??? Idiots!!!! By far the funniest movie in 2009 thus far!!!!!
