Was TDTESS that bad? I'll have to check it out cuz my boy Keau is in it.

Is it just me or did bedtime stories have some of the worst cgi in the past decade? I mean I know its a kid's movie but they should try a little harder.

The fact that you picked Bedtime Stories over The Day The Earth Stood Still makes this week's list moot. At least TDTESS included the original classic flick as a bonus. Bedtime Stories includes only suffering, regret, and Russel Brand.

What's worse, Keanu acting like Keanu (which can be good) or Adam Sandler acting like a more idiotic version of Adam Sandler (which is always bad)???

I liked Yes Man. But youre right, it is Jem Carrey from Liar Liar. And Zoey IS absolutely beautiful and charming. The story was decently funny and she is just a doll. She makes this worth the buy. And House was better as a book, as usual. Some of these should stay on bookshelves and out of theatres. And I was diapointed with Desperaux, and it SHOULD have been better. Another one ripped from its pages and thrown onto film.

thank you for commenting on the absurdity of voila davis being nominated for an oscar in doubt and for enjoying the flick because i too thought it was great and that the performances were absolutely wonderful. donkey punch was twisted and great - incredibly sick but intriguing - good choice :) and to answer your question about yes man.. i'd buy it.

Now I am an avid defender of Keanu Reeves however this script sucked big time. This movie was sold on it's CGI capabilities. I can understand the producers wanting to make it a stand alone film from the original. But they missed the mark.....by like a mile. A waste of the talented Kathy Bates and John Cleese. Even Keanu was stiffer than usual. The best thing about the movie was the sarcasim of Jaden Smith. The bird comment is a little harsh. I will wait for Blockbuster to put this one on their for sale table.
