It was a time travel joke. I'm guessing Robin was writing this post from 1988.

Meanwhile, this is awesome news. I'm getting into the series specifically because of David Tennant. Billie Piper doesn't hurt either. I remember catching old reruns of it when I was younger and aspiring to making super-ultra-low-budget sci-fi myself. Watch out! That cardboard box with airducts for arms is from another dimension!

Its the perfect time for a Doctor Who movie,,,, I've been blogging that idea for months. Get off your ass BBC!!
(Exterminate !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Based on the high quality of the show they could do a film pretty cheap.
I'd say under 50 mil easy.
The new series is the BEST sci-fi show on tv !!!!!! Yes even better then BSG. (IMO)

NO IT'S CELABRATING IT'S 45TH ANERVERY . IT SIRPASSED STAR TREK NUMBER OF EPISODES COUNT . AND WELL MY BEING A HARDEND WHOVIAN LIKE I AM , I WOULD GO BONKERS IF THERE WAS A DOCTOR WHO MOVIE . BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM I SEE IS BRINGING DOCTOR WHO TO THE STATES , CONSIDERING THAT AMERICANS LOVE THE FORMLA THATS STAYED THE SAME FOR MANY YEARS . WHERE ALMOST EVERY DRAMA IS THE SAME . MEANING TEENAGER HAS SEX OR DOES DRUGS ETC . AND EVERY SITCOM IS THE SAME AND REALIY SHOWS ARE ON EVERY STATION AND ARE GIVEN TO ANYONE . IT'S MADE ME SICK . DOCTOR WHO IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR , EVERY SHOW IS DIFFRENT AND A TINY DEATAIL FROM SEIRES 1 BECOMES A HUGE PLOT LINE IN THE FOURTH SEIRES . THATS CALL"SMART WRITTING" SOMETHING THAT TODAYS AMERICAN WRITERS DON'T POSSES EXEPT J.J ABRAMS . IM NOT TRY TO SAY AMICAN TV IS BAD BUT I THINK THEY NEED TO BREAK THE MOLD A BIT .

I've been saying the show is good enough now ! To be a movie. The new series is one of the best sci-fi shows ever, and deffinity Britians best show. Red Dwarf coming in a hot second place. !!
They could remaster the (season2/ 2 parter) Army of Ghosts, and Doomsday into a widescreen movie and it would have made over 50 mil US no doubt !!!!!!!!
The tv show is movie quality allready !!!!!!!!
I sure hope they do this soon !!!! And of course David Tennants the Doctor !!

yep ! David Tennant is the best doctor ever !!!!!!! , The darleks rock the rock harder with davros . I thought there was now better doctor who episodes than seires 4 fainle the stolen earth and jouney's end although it was extremly sad . hey 790 guess how many people saw it in brittan ? 10 MILLION !!!! I'm in the middle of season 3. I'm 2 deep and its great.
I've heard that the season 4 ending was massive...
I have to say all of the cliff-hanger finales have been stellar !!!!!!!
They could all be movies !!!!

Dose any one know if the twin T.A.R.D.I.S might come on because it would be grate because the comilian circuit works (the thing that made the T.A.R.D.I.S into the ploice box but then bust).
