First off, Fure isn't going to get ANY work until he ditches McDuckenstein and signs up Filmy McAgentgold.

Secondly, I could LIVE with Pine, but my heart is set on Nathan Fillion. I hadn't thought about Jon Hamm, but I would entertain that suggestion as well. I say this all because, of course, my opinion means something to Suit McCorporate.

You know what, as much as I love Fillion, I'd be okay with Pine. He seems like the guy to have a commanding presence whenever he's on screen. And as far as Hamm goes, I'd much rather see him play Superman/Clark Kent, I think he could that offer perfectly.

Wait. So the Green Lantern isn't black? Am I confused?

no, chris pike is perfect match for kirk, so he is no match for green lantern, sound stupid like trying hire ashton kutcher as tony stark. need someone is who are older and wisely, more matured like robert downey jr, christian bale, and hugh jackman. pick someone never play as superhero in their career, it will be great.

All I know is that whoever they cast can't be a blonde. In all honesty, I couldn't care less. I never liked Green Lanturn, so maybe my opinion isn't the best for this. But I think this is solid casting. Reminds me of Tobey Maguire for Spiderman,

Well you see the thing is, there are many green lanterns, thousands in fact. All of them make up an inter galactic, sort of, police force that governs the universe, divided into different sectors. There are three lanterns that govern the earth. Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner. There are other human green lanterns too like Guy Gardner, but he doesn't govern earth. John Stewart is the guy in the Justice League Cartoon series on Cartoon Network. He's not the main human lantern or the most powerful for that matter. Hal Jordan is because of his inability to feel fear and his unmatched sheer willpower. Willpower is what allows the green lanterns to use there rings. =D

Kyle doesn't govern earth he is a part of the honor guard along with Guy Gardner and Kilowog... as far as casting goes it really depends on the story they plan on telling, I would buy Pine as a younger "emerald dawn" gl. I love Fillion but he may be too old for the role...
