first of all, there should be NO movie about the Stooge Brothers, period. I can understand if it's going to be a biopic, but from what I've heard, it sounds like a complete REMAKE with three new actors taking over the roles.

Are the families hurting for money? I don't understanf why they would let ANYONE tamper with such classics. Are the Farrelly brothers threatened by the recent success of the Coen brothers?

No way Penn as Larry lol. He couldn't pull off the accent alone yet have the charm. The three stooges are just something too hard to recreate. Each character was hilarious and unique in his own way.
