Having watched many, many movies from this time period, I first watched this movie with my jaw on the floor. I kept thinking, "How did this slip by the Hays Code?" It is a wonderful movie that is full of laughs and love. The ending is priceless.

Great verbal gags and non-sequiturs, fast-paced action, and a thorough irreverence for all things deemed respectable -- politicians, policemen and magistrates included -- make it a lasting delight.

I watched 2-3 movies of 30's. One is gone with the wind & other one is casablanca.Both are amazing movies.How aboout this one? Did somene like it? Though i have heard about it very much.
