It's going to ignore the ending of Wolverine? Why? All he did was fight Wolverine and Sabretooth. There's no way to come back from that?

And, oh great, another origin story. Seriously? Do we need the origin? Can't we get a brief overview and then BAM into the awesomeness. I just find it suspect that we're already ignoring the ending of a movie that came out last weekend.

you obviously didn't stay till after the credits rolled. and if you did, then you didn't see the bonus ending that involved Deadpool.

Thank god they won't continue with that traveshamockery that was deadpool at the end of the movie. I have faith Reynolds can pull it off.

Agreed. Origins for the MArvel Universe are getting old already. They never get it right. On the other hand Im down for more Reynolds as Deadpool either way. He was dead on as the comic merc many of us grew up on.

I want original comics Deadpool, but there really isn't a reason to ignore everything that happened. The real Deadpool origin is pretty close to this except instead of being turned into a super mutant, they tortured him, put him through tests (which they sort of did here) and then threw his body away.

All Fox needs to do is have Deadpool put himself back together and go from there. Hopefully getting back to Deadpool's origins just means making him a merc with a mouth and an asshole with swords rather than a super mutant. But there is no reason to ignore Wolverine. You made the bed now sleep in it.

I couldn't agree more. I know the Deadpool at the end of Wolverine wasn't exactly the Deadpool fans know, but considering what happened to the character, they could easily fix that. Remove some of his powers, get him in a mask, have fun with it, and keep going. Don't look back, Fox. You won't like what you find.

I know what you mean...why spend half the movie going through the whole origin before we see anything cool...let's get another Incredible Hulk origin montage in the opening credits then move right into the actual film...I mean we'll have to wait until Wolverine 2 and Iron Man 2 before we get to see solid action flicks... why hinder the action in the first Deadpool by dragging out a simple origin story in 2hours instead of only 10mins

well I know their was supposed to be different endings in Wolverine In the one I saw Deadpool grabbed his head and shushed the camera so.... Then why not tell his past in a flashback and and start the Movie as I'm Deadpool I'm a merc and show what he can do and have him hunt Cable or Something then they can go One of Two ways the team up of Cable and Deadpool or the Whole Cable/ Striffe spinoff story. The potential is limitless. I love how 15 years ago Cable was the bomb and now he's a distant memory. We need more Cable.

What is so great about Deadpool? I barely even heard of him before the movie. He has snarky comments and it's the only thing Ryan Reynolds can do, which is perfect!

I didnt see the Deadpool ending. I only saw Wolverine on that bootleg DVD. The one with no special effects. Im gonna watch it this weekend but Id still like to know whats up with that ending.

Deadpool, huh? Will he wear his costume, or at least his mask? Will he still teleport? Will he still have those dumb blades in his arms? Will they get a comedy writer to handle the dialog so the jokes don't all feel like somebody copied them off the internet? Can it have an R-rating, so we can hear Wade cuss, and really get some sex and blood on the screen? So many questions - I hope we're not in for another Elektra fiasco. I am glad to see strong negative feedback against Wolverine, as I did think it was mostly a confusing mess, with a few mild high points, and a real lack of any good action sequences. Too bad Logan couldn't live up to the high standards set by Iron Man... (Will Deadpool still have an old blind woman locked in a torture room in the basement of his home? Can Steve Buscemi play Weasel?)

I am all for a mask but for whatever reason Marvel and The X-men... No Masks I guess they can't cover up those pretty little faces can they. Wolverine no mask. Bradley supposed to look like a bird thing nope Budget no Bird. Blob always fat not in this movie so go figure. And Deadpool in Costume what are the chances.... probably none We can't cover up Ryan's Mug got to bring in the ladies instead of any integrity to the comic.

I did stay til the end. I saw his severed head say "shh" and then fade to nothingness. I'm asking why ignore it. But thanks for the condescension, hadn't gotten that today.

i'm sorry that i took your comment the wrong way, but you did ask why ignore the ending and talked about Logan and Victor fighting. you made it seem like you hadn't seen the easter egg ending.
