So Sarandon is a serious caliber actress and her addition means this may be a great movie? I'm not saying that the movie is or isn't anything but a simple cash grab, but a quick glance at Sarandon's resume seems to argue against her being very particular with her roles over the past few years...

And those movies have one thing in common: they're comedies. Except Elizabethtown, because no one really knows what that movie was supposed to be.

I get the point you're trying to make, although I loved Speed Racer and apparently Enchanted was a solid flick.

But when it comes to dramatic roles, Sarandon is pretty solid at picking good projects.
