Michael Bay’s worth as a director is more better than himself or the commercial he directed himself before he was a director of badass movies, this commercial was okay to laugh at, I think it was funny but not that funny for a funny commercial to be.

duuuuude!!!! they ran this commercial all time when i was a kid, while watching goosebumps and power rangers! damn, Bay has skillz; can even make milk intense

It's a terrific commercial. What Bay is excellent at - perhaps better than anyone - is this kind of short-form narrative. Quick, easy ideas, visually told. He's an amazing commercial director and his movie trailers are near works of art.

But given a narrative, or a story with characters who are supposed to act like humans, or some kind of coherent A-Z plotline, he can't do it. He chops it to hell, never bolts the camera down and makes it all into one- and two-minute staccato pieces instead of a cohesive whole. Filmmaking by way of brain aneurysm.
