    I beg to differ! I am female and "Re-Animator" is one of my absolute favorite films! Don't lump us all into one category. Some of us hate the chick flicks and love a good horror.

    I'm glad to know that my taste in movies gets SOMEONE's stamp of approval ; ) Rooster Cogburn is one of the most classic and amazing characters of all time.

    Dude, Big Lebowski is one of my favorite films...it's just....awesome. And I'd watch more of the films on this list than the ones on the girl's list. I think I've SEEN more on this list than the other...I suppose I'm a male when it comes to cinema...;)

    The only one of those that I've even SEEN is Fight Club, but I loved that. Big Lebowski, Godfather & Butch Cassidy are all on my must watch list though, hopefully that counts for something!

    I was sent on a date by one of my friends last summer...i wasnt particularly interested in the chick and 15 minutes into the date i wanted to get rid of her, so i figured i'd take her to see The Dark Knight. how could she possible enjoy a movie about a dude in a bat and another with makeup on his face, i thought..

    She absolutely loved it. We've both seen TDK 7 times in total together since then, and at Christmas, we gave each other a copy of TDK on blu-ray dvd. We've been dating for 5 months now :D....

    Haha, I read this post and got increasingly more upset, thinking, "Hey, I love this movie! Hey, this one too! Evil Dead? Hell yes! Why can't chicks love Evil Dead?" But then I realized the fact that I actually refuse to see movies like She's Just Not That Into You and ...well, The Notebook, I guess, kind of takes me out of this category. Am I secretly a man? :-(

    Gotta tell you, I love most of the movies on the Guy's list, and the ones on the Gal's list make me want to puke. So I'm either insanely hot, or a lesbian. And since I know for a fact I'm not a lesbian... ;)

    Anyway, thanks for the morale boost on this Valentine's Day!

    OK, I love Big Lebowski, but I need to know why said guy loves it.
    Is it the bouncing breasts? Or, worse, it that he wants to be the Dude someday.
    I'll date a fan in a heartbeat, but not a Dude-in-training. Sorry.

    Otherwise, no qualms. Bruce Lee's the man, John Wayne has an airport (so he can fly away from his problems ;) ) and I want to party with Bruce Campbell and Bill Murray.

    I hated the other list and love every single film on this list. Then again, I think that other list was more of a "let's just compile a list of the most girly movies we can think of..."

    If only it were as easy as being female and liking these movies to get a Valentine's date :P

    Two things, though: you forgot Ghost Busters and Blues Brothers.

    Amazing. Now what does it mean if my girlfriend loves Fight Club, hates the Godfather (because of this wierd hatred towards itallian mobsters) thinks Saving Private ryan is ok, Likes, but not loves The big Lebowski, Thinks Caddyshack is pretty funny but refuses to watch Enter the Dragon?

    Ok, not only have I seen and love most of these - haven't gotten around to Re-animator or The Big Lebowski yet - hubby & I are raising a diehard fangirl. At the tender age of 5, she came out one night after I'd stuck in Army of Darkness and insisted on watching it with me the next morning. (With me so I could point out the fakeness so she wouldn't get scared, I AM a good mommy! lol) At 10, she's now seen all the Evil Dead movies, Caddyshack, and every vampire movie she can get her hands on... yet she still also likes Hannah Montana and the Cheetah girls. *shudder* As for the other list, can't stand 'em except for Pretty Woman... Sex and the City - I'll agree with Family Guy on this one: "So it's about three whore and their mother??"

    Evil dead i can see... but really.... why not just some good ol slasher fun...

    if a girl likes those - then she must enjoy the cinema experience.. which to me is love at first sight.
