This is just getting pathetic. Is everyone so desperate to have an "Exclusive" that they will pass off old art work or fake art work time and again that just makes them look unreliable and ridiculous? People are definitely learning what movie sites not to believe.

In all fairness... We never claimed that this was "exclusive" or "real." We just posted it up for discussion because this was the first time we (I) have seen it...

The one on the fan site for Ledger not the official poster. It's another photoshop fan image. Next thing you know, film school rejects will post that fake joker photo of ledger holding a color code.

Theresa is right! Everyone wants to get the exclusive on how the Joker will be and get more diggs on Digg. Just like it was mentioned on digg, if you're a film fan then you'd know that the first photo was from The Man Who Laughs. And if you're a Batman fan, you'd know that too.

Now stop trying to milk this as if you have an exclusive. You say that you're not sure if it was real, but the way the post was handled and then followed by another fake, sure shows one is trying to gain more traffic.

Dear Neil,

You are exactly right in that you didn't say it was real, but in fairness I didn't hold you accountable for the poster. I didn't say you or your site, I said this, implying the situation. There is no poster out there yet, so if anyone sees it, it will be news to Warner Bros. They are one of my clients and I spoke with the marketing representative on this film just Friday and was told there are no official pictures or posters out and there won't be for quite some time. I have to believe the company that owns the film before I believe all these photos and/or posters that have popped up and been called real or authentic or whatever on the internet this week. However, I knew that you did not generate that poster so naturally you are not responsible for it.

You are absolutely right. There are no real posters out there that WB has released (we checked as well). You have to admit though, that some of this "fan art" is pretty creative...

And to be honest, we really didn't have any other news today, this poster was new to us, so we thought we'd let the people decide whether or not it was remotely reputable. And the people have spoken!

Digger - I completely agree! I hadn't seen this image before ( and by the sound of it , I am the only one) but still, I was SO excited to see Dark Knight when I first found it. I WANT the joker to be malicious and twisted. I have also seen a couple film snaps of what the movie makers decided to go with, and they snuffed out my enthusiasm in short order. The makeup they chose is HORRIBLE! It's the same look the joker always gets. It's boring! It's really a crying shame that the first photoshop will never be made into a poster....I would have slapped that on my wall no question.

This is the internet Rachel. So what, he made a typo. I really hope you are not going around pointing out peoples typos, you'll spend years doing that if so. Besides, if grammar on a short little comment matters that much, how come you don't have a capital "I" in "i'm" when you started your sentence. And, it's a stupid remark anyways, cuz if you don't know what the dark night is, if it existed, then you wouldn't know if it had the Joker in it.

If you want to go talking on forums so much, learn to deal with typos. Pathetic.

i'm not sure what the "dark night" is, but it doesn't have a joker in it. now the dark knight, yeah, that may be it.

if you love the movie so much, learn the name, seriously. pathetic.
